Margaret Clithero was convicted of grand larceny and sentenced to hang. Execution not confirmed.

She was the wife of John Clithero, a labourer, who was also indicted as an accessory and found guilty but allowed clergy.

On 30 November 1606 at West Ham she stole a sorrel mare (26s. 8d.) from Henry Hunt and a brown-bay mare (£2) from John Syms.
